As a coach my aim is to help facilitate your running journey; your life’s journey. Running has changed my perspective of life and I’m here to use my experience to help you achieve your running goals. Using science based practices and years of experience, I can help you finish races, reach a PR, prepare for your next big hike or train you for your next trail adventure.

As a student of this sport I am constantly learning and improving my methods. I take what I learn, implement it on the trails and roads, gain insight and repeat. I believe in the process of incremental gains that produces results.

I was born in Nairobi Kenya and immigrated to Minnesota at the age of 7. My roots go back to Ethiopia and Turkey where my parents and ancestors are from. My love for athletics comes from a childhood of days full of adventure and playing soccer barefooted with my friends in Nairobi. As far as I can remember: Running has been a form of expression for me and a way to be present, to get physically strong, to challenge myself and to grow spiritually.
