Through trail running, we embark on a transformative journey that takes us beyond the confines of our inner thoughts and feelings, pushing us to explore the vastness of the world around us. This transition not only allows us to connect with nature and our surroundings but also fosters a deeper understanding of ourselves and our capabilities as we engage with the elements outside.

Forged from an accumulation of experiences of my life, Aleppo has taken many forms. At one point it was an aspiring idea to create an outdoors clothing brand (which is in the works) to a running coaching service(which it is and if your interested <-click here) to more recently a project to bring people together trail running.
But, the true essence of Aleppo lays in a much complicated history of a boy taken from what was once familiar to that which is foreign and confusing. From a free, adventures and spiritual childhood in Nairobi to a much dimmer and traumatic new environment in the U.S at the age of seven.
Aleppo is a manifestation of gems and insights gleaned from those struggles and challenges. It represents navigating the inner dimensions and mining the true potential we have to conquer obstacles that obstruct our purpose.
One way that has helped me conquer those obstacles is to build a strong inner dimension that works in balance with the outer form. One of most impactful sacred insights that has helped me through out my life is this idea that,

“the body, mind and spirit are not rivals but allies in the project of finding wholeness.”

What better way to find that wholeness then moving our bodies in the most natural way through landscapes that bring us closer to our inner dimension and simultaneously challenge our physical(outer form). I believe, trail running brings us closer to nature and ignites that inherent pull to adventure, discover and inspire us to create communities to share what we have found.
In essence trail running can cultivate our inward, silence the noise, help us chase excellence and illuminate our souls. Join us as we embark on this quest to find that harmony.
